If you know what that’s from, you’re more than likely a gamer, or someone who recently played Super Mario Bros 3, my favourite of the Mario games.
To celebrate this momentous revelation, I present you with a new skin.
I “accidently” deleted my sketchbook skin and replaced with this stylin’ skin of awesomeness that I call, “Dothemario”.

View ImageWhile making this template, I ofcourse had to delve in to the world that is Super Mario Bros 3. Being as awesome as the game is, I was quickly sidetracked and ended up getting to World 8 before realizing, “shit, I don’t have any damn screenies”. Good game Baines, Good game. For those that don’t know, World 8 is the last world, and being thus, is filled with fire and brimstone, cannons and koopas (and a princess too!).
So I gathered the screenies I managed to take before being entangled in the atmosphere of possibly the ultimate gaming experience ever and got to work, so excuse me if there is a lack of objects. I plan to get a few more things in here such as the evil sun from world 2, and maybe some of those fake-brick-monster thingies from the same world, a bomb-omb ofcourse, aswell as more Marios.

I did a quick google search for a mario wordpress theme and came up squat, so I might convert this to a WP Theme and spread it like grease on a mechanic, rawr.

I’ve been making some templates for my Mum’s eBay auctions, turns out she’s a natural at HTML. I had her tweaking it for various other DVDs she’s selling, eye-dropping colours in photoshop, grabbing the hex value and entering it in the html, aswell as uploading graphics to my FTP. Good times indeed.

Update: Well, my lifelong tradition of not being able to sleep the day before “day 1″ is in full effect. My TAFE course starts today. Like I said, I’m never able to sleep before “day 1′s”, the first time I think I remember it happening was back in Grade 11 (pre-senior in Oz). It’s happened like clockwork since then. My first day of work-experience, my first day of grade 12, my first day of tafe, and the first day of every semester after that.
So I did what any warm blooded Bainesian would do, I re-played Mario 3 and grabbed a heap more screenies. I think maybe I’ve overpopulated the header image now.
Well, I gotta get up in like, 3 minutes. Cya Round.
